Gift Ideas for Foodies & Amazon Giveaway

Update 12/11/12: Entry #103, Susan B., is the winner! Congrats Susan!

Happy Cyber Monday! I’ve got the perfect way to kick off the holiday shopping season: a giveaway for an Amazon gift card! I love supporting local businesses, but sometimes it is just easier to shop online, especially at this busy time of year. Shopping on Amazon for gifts is great because it has quick shipping, good prices, and almost anything you could ever want.

If you’re looking for gifts for your favorite foodie or baker, look no further. I’ve compiled all my favorite baking supplies, kitchen appliances, cookbooks, and more into an Amazon store so you can get ideas and inspiration. Enter to win my gift card giveaway and you’ll be all set to buy some holiday presents!

To enter the giveaway:

All you have to do is check out my Amazon store and leave a comment on this post telling me: what’s one item from the store that you’d buy for yourself or someone else?

For additional entries:

You can do any of the following (and leave a comment for each one that you do):

  1. Like 52 Kitchen Adventures on Facebook
  2. Follow me on Twitter
  3. Follow all my boards on Pinterest
  4. Follow me on Instagram
  5. Tweet about the giveaway (such as “I want to #win a $50 Amazon gift card from @kitchadventures! http://bit.ly/QF39Uw”)

P.S. I might be doing some random extra entries on Facebook and Twitter so follow me and pay attention!

The small print:

All entries must be received by midnight PST on Monday, December 10th, 2012. I will use a random number generator to select the winner and update this post with their name.

I would pick the beater for the KitchenAid. Don’t have one and am always scraping the mixing bowl and getting my spatula stuck! Plus, need a can opener for a gift!

I would definitely say the nestled stainless steel measuring cups for my parents. Every time they replace their measuring cups ( which shouldn’t be often) they keep replacing them with the same old plastic ones and the measurement always wears off!!!! Will be nice when I go to visit and want to make something for them, I can read the measurement!!!

I so covet those Joseph Joseph mixing bowls/measuring spoons for myself, but my youngest sister would also put a set to good use. All of my siblings could use the Oxo measuring cup and spatula sets; you can’t ever have too many of those. We could also use the Wilton 3-tiered cooling racks and extra sets of Pyrex mixing bowls, not to mention a half-dozen (or more) Silpats.

I would buy the collapsible cupcake carrier for myself… that way I could share all my holiday treats with my friends and family and know that they would get there in one piece! (I also liked you on Facebook, followed you on Twitter and on Pinterest!)

So many things! The beaters, the collapsible cupcake carrier is super cool, could use better cooling racks…

I love the kitchenaid blade & the 3 tier cooling rack–Both would have been very helpful when I was baking my Christmas cookies last weekend!

I love to bake. For years I’ve wanted to learn how to decorate with icing but never purchases any of the cake decorating kits. So, of all the great items in your store, I’d take the plunge and get a set. Then, I’d actually have to learn to use them. =)

P.S. Awesome job with the blog, Stephanie! I love all your posts.

I would get The Flavor Bible. My fiance and I are both picky eaters, and anything that can help add variety to the foods we will eat is worth adding to the library!

I have also followed all your boards on pinterest, I’ve liked your fb page and liked and shared your message about this contest. I tried to follow you on twitter, but it wouldn’t respond for some reason. Oh well.
